Nuthatch

This beautiful little bird is a common sight my yard, often seen walking head first down a tree trunk. Its unique behavior and colorful feathers make it enjoyable to watch, and I loved drawing the tree just as much.  Colored Pencil on Strathmore 500 Bristol Plate, own reference.
