Hummingbirds are always a sure sign that summer has arrived, and in Northern Wisconsin summer doesn't last long.  I spend quite a bit of time growing flowers they love and watching these little jewels until they leave in September.  Female Hummingbird, drawn on Strathmore 500 Bristol Smooth with colored pencil.
